Tales of Galactic Pest Control Now Available from Amazing Selects!

July 21, 2025 — The containment fields are holding, the exterminator bots are standing by, and the newest sci-fi anthology from Amazing Selects has officially landed!

Tales of Galactic Pest Control is now available for purchase, and it’s crawling with weirdness (in the best way). Edited by science fiction legends David Gerrold (The Trouble with Tribbles) and Tom Easton (Analog), this one-of-a-kind anthology features 34 original stories about the unglamorous, underappreciated, and utterly essential job of pest control… in space.

From rogue nanotech and alien infestations to genetically modified vermin and interstellar bedbugs, these stories deliver a mix of action, absurdity, horror, and hard science—written by a stellar cast of authors who aren’t afraid to get their gloves dirty.

“These are the folks who clean up after the heroes leave—and sometimes save the galaxy while they’re at it,” said Kermit Woodall, Director of Amazing Stories. “We couldn’t be more excited to share this gloriously grimy, wildly imaginative collection with readers.”

Whether you’re a longtime sci-fi fan or just love the idea of bug-squashing on a galactic scale, this anthology will make you laugh, cringe, and never look at ductwork the same way again.

Space is vast. The pests are small. The stories are epic.
